What RentHowMuch collects, why, how long we keep it and who processes it.

Rents you check
The asking rents and blocks you type into the checker are not stored by the application. The host's web server logs may record full page addresses, including the rent in a shared link; the block is optional in a shared link.
Who processes your data
MochaHost hosts the application and its database. When online payment opens, Stripe processes payments on its own hosted page; card details never reach RentHowMuch. Email about the trial is sent from the owner's mailbox; no marketing email is sent without your consent.
Hosting outside Singapore
The application and its database are hosted outside Singapore, in the United States. Under the Transfer Limitation Obligation of the Personal Data Protection Act (section 26), the transfer relies on the hosting contract, which binds the host to a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.
Cookies
Public pages set no cookies. Visit counts are aggregate and cookieless: a day, a price arm and a channel tag, nothing about you.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your details, correct them or withdraw your consent. We delete a withdrawn sign-up within 30 days, including backups, which are kept for at most 4 weeks.
Data Protection Officer
Contact the Data Protection Officer at dpo@renthowmuch.sg. A data breach is assessed within 72 hours of discovery and reported to the PDPC and to the people affected where the PDPA requires it.
